Incredible! We’ve never eaten any fish quite like this one. The gentleman at pacific cloud suggested a miso marinade recipe and it was perfect!!

Sablefish is best known for its rich, buttery taste, white flakiness, and incredible texture. Harvested from California to the Aleutian Islands, this deep-sea fish has a high-fat content, making it perfect for baking, poaching, broiling, grilling, frying, or smoking. The Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch has granted Sablefish fisheries a 'Best Choice' status, signifying that the stock is healthy and strong regulations and oversight are in place to monitor fishing levels, reduce bycatch, and minimize seafloor impacts. Two independent certification standards guarantee the responsible management of the Alaskan Sablefish fishery: the Alaska Responsible Fisheries Management (RFM) and the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) (ASMI, Sablefish). We are proud to partner with the Seafood Producers Cooperative (SPC) for our sablefish! SPC is one of our favorite fisher-owned organizations, serving families and small-boat fishermen all over the North Pacific.
